The Wild Atlantic Way

The development of Wild Atlantic Way coastal route is a new Irish tourism project, but already world-famous. It spans seven of Ireland's counties from Cork to Donegal, taking in some breath-taking scenery along what is now the world’s longest defined coastal touring route. It makes for a spectacular journey and well worth exploring in its entirety or in part.

The Wild Atlantic Way project, developed by Fáilte Ireland, is not to be confused with the Atlantic Way movement, but it is a project we strongly supported in concept and development. It is also an initiative we think Ireland should ‘mirror’ in the development of an Atlantic Way economic corridor, building on our strengths and utilising the Region’s resources to create a Region of international scale, significance and excellence.
The video below gives you a sense of the Wild Atlantic Way.
